There is a $60 fee to come as staff for one or all of the camps!
If you are applying as Teen Force (17 year olds), you will be able to staff at either of the two Junior camps.
These Summer Camps will be held at Yarra Adventure Park (in the NNSW conference). We look forward to receiving your application!
We are glad you are choosing to staff with us this year! Please fill out the following information to the best of your ability.
If you are 18 years or older you are required to have a WWCC. If you don't have one yet you will need to complete the online application, then visit Service NSW with proof of identity. Once you have done this you should receive an email that states your clearance number.
You will not be able to commence working with us unless you have a valid NSW Working With Children Check (or other state equivalent--valid for only two weeks).
If you are 18 or older, have you completed your Adsafe training and signed the code of conduct within the last three years? If not, please complete the online training before continuing. This training is compulsory for all staff. We will NOT be doing the Adsafe training on the staff day. If you have already done the training, you don't have to do it again, unless it has expired. A completed and up-to-date training is needed before the commencement of work. Please let us know if you have any questions.
The NNSW Conference is fully committed to the protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults. You are making an applications to work as a volunteer in an important child related role. Please be aware that according to Adsafe policy, your name will be screened with Adsafe before any appointment is made. If you are not willing for your name to be screened, please discontinue this application.
You can view more details on our Terms and Conditions page.
You are required to read the staff manual before attending summer camps. It will take 30-40mins to read through. This is a very important step in preparing you and informing you of the requirements of being a staff member at camp.
Please download the staff manual and set some time aside to read it before staff training. We will send out a reminder before camp.

I commit to reading the staff manual and will uphold the responsibilities, policies and requirements of a staff member at summer camp. I understand the job descriptions of the roles I am applying for. I will also strive to keep to the objective and purpose of summer camps while providing a safe atmosphere for campers.
Please indicate how many camps you are wanting to attend, your camp preference and which camps you are available for. Keep in mind that the greater availability you have, the more chances you have of being accepted. However, if you do happen to be available for more than one camp please do not assume you will be accepted for all of them.
Please select the roles you would be willing to help out with at camp and indicate if you have had experience with it and are 'skilled' in the activity or if you haven't done it before but are 'interested'. If you are offered a staff position at Summer Camp it may include more than one of the below indicated roles. If you select 'skilled' for kayaking, sailing, snorkelling, SUP boards or waterfront you must have your Bronze Medallion. Training for that is available.
Please note you are able to indicate you are interested in multiple positions.
If you are interested in helping with any of the water activities at summer camp, you will be required to have done your Bronze Medallion - Flatwater training. This is valid for 12 months. Training will be run at Avondale pool late Nov/early December and one run at Macksville pool on December 28 (*confirm with Bill).
Please provide us with contact details of two people you would like as a reference. It is preferable that one reference is a spiritual mentor or leader within your local church.
Please enter your payment details below. A confirmation of payment will be sent via email.
I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions and Summer Camp Dress Code Policy.
