Summer Camp is a time for making fun memories, developing new relationships and to better discover Jesus. Staff roles at the North NSW Youth Summer Camps are an opportunity to use your God-given talents to mentor 10-17 year olds, to support each camper in integrating well into their unit/cabin, teach new skills, encourage campers to try new skills, promote Christian unity, and be an example of the joys and privileges of knowing Jesus.
In order to better equip our staff to meet these objectives, we run a day of staff training the day prior to your camp and you will be required to be there no later than 10:00am. If you would like to stay the night before, please let us know.
We are asking that our staff pay a $60.00 acceptance fee. This fee helps cover a small portion of the costs associated in your meals/accommodation/training etc. allowing a greater subsidy for bringing underprivileged kids to camp. This fee is refundable ONLY if you are not accepted. Ensure you are available for the dates you apply for.
Staff numbers will be limited to how many campers book in. If you are accepted you will stay at Yarra and receive normal meals with the other campers.
Please note: ADSAFE TRAINING AND WWCC IS COMPULSORY. You will NOT be able to attend the camp without these.
1. Have the name you completed your AdSafe training under.
2. Have your WWCC number (or application number if you have just applied).
3. Read through the Staff manual.
If you have any questions please contact the NNSW Youth Department on 02 4644 3242 or Dana on 0406 880 172 before proceeding with this application.

This year all medical and emergency contact details will need to be completed through Operoo.
Operoo is an online platform for automating medical records, consent forms, payments and group messaging that is used by many organisations, clubs and schools throughout Australia.
In order to complete your registration, you will need to create (or share) your Operoo profile and fill out all your medical information and emergency contact details.
When you have completed this registration form you will receive an email to create or share a Operoo profile. Please note that the email address you use in this registration form needs to be the same email address you use for your Operoo profile.
We are using Operoo because it is simple to use and stream-lined. Once you have completed a Operoo profile, you will never have to do so again.
